You crazy SOB. You gave me willies just thinking about it. I just head an interview with an life insurance agent who asked me if I was going to do any crazy sports like skydiving. "Hell no" I said "Do you think I'm crazy."

Well, maybe I'll have to reconsider especially if I can have safety dude strapped to my back :)

The video, with its music and emotional punch by the narrator, is nostalgic. I never once owned legos and didn't recognize a thing, but the inexpert jittery nature of the video and the honest awe at the vault was certainly one to trigger a reaction. It worked for you!

That is unfortunate about The Happening. I was looking forward to it. However, MNS movies are a genre in themselves and I don't expect a lot from them.

I recently saw "Sixth Sense" for the first time a few years ago. I already knew the secret and with the surprise gone the movie isn't nearly as good as you would think. As a matter of fact I think "Unbreakable" is my favorite of his films.

I normally go through Expedia, Travel Axe or some other online service. I'll just have to remember to add $30 to any American Airlines fair.

The OC will never happen, though. Clinton wouldn't want to be anything but top dog. You think she's sick of feeling like she's running as a "co-President" with Bill now? How would she feel about being second fiddle to Obama, a man she's critiquing as being too inexperienced to be Pres. No, she's pushing hard to win now, because she knows this is her only real shot at it. And Obama has said he wouldn't be content with a VP slot, so it seems to be a wash. My personal hope is Obama/Edwards.

holy crap! i don't check in for awhile and then when i do i find that you've gone on a blogging binge. good luck on the novel. maybe next year i'll give it a shot.

my best bet would be to go old school like some of our former college classmates did by getting hammered and writing on and on in an incoherent stream of consciousness for pages on end. of course now it won't be the same without a professor to turn my masterpiece into and to whom i can later express my disdain and outrage at after receiving a deservedly low grade. even worse i wouldn't get the satisfaction of being able to rant to anyone unfortunate enough to encounter me about how the professor just didn't understand my "art". but i digress, props to you kurt!

Forgot to mention that if anyone is interested in looking me up on the NaNo website, you can find me under the username coyoteblue. Glad to see you're still in the land of the living, Wally. I think. Some of those pics on your website make me wonder.

Glad to see you NaNoing like the rest of us borderline psychotics. It truly does get the blood pumping. It also causes temporary euphoria, shortness of breath, headaches, nausea, irritable bowel, and potential complications of the liver. If you're bored, my user name over there is "Walter Thurman." Catchy, eh?
